Mutual of Omaha has modified the compensation rates for Term Life Answers (TLA) policies converted to one of our permanent policies:
- Now, term conversions years 2 through 9 will receive full new business first-year commissions payable — an increase to what is currently paid!
- For term conversions in years 10+, the year 2 renewal commission rate will apply
Transition Rules: TLA term Conversion applications signed on July 23, 2022 and later and/or received by the Home Office on July 30, 2022 or later, will receive the new term conversion compensation detailed above. No exceptions will be made. Read More.

MassMutual is pleased to announce enhancements to our Disability Income Insurance (DI) Starting Professional Program. Certain applicants in their final stages of training, or in their first two years of professional practice, may be eligible for special DI issue limits based on anticipated earned income. We have increased the issue limits by $500 on Radius Choice and the Catastrophic Disability Benefit Rider2 (CAT) for the following occupations within the program: Architect, Attorney, Computer/Information Technology (Degreed), CPA, Doctor* (M.D., D.O.), Engineer, Pharmacist, Veterinarian. The group eligibility minimum has been reduced from 25 to 10 lives for qualifying GI Term cases. With a qualifying aggregate score, we’ll be able to consider groups of 10+ lives.
